Peterborough City Basketball Club offers programs for boys and girls aged 5-18. This includes community sessions and competitive teams for more advanced players.

 

How can my child join Peterborough City Basketball Club?

 

To join, children can attend a £5 taster session. If they enjoy it, they can sign up for membership for £30 per month. Each child is allowed one taster session before committing to membership.

Where will training sessions be held?

Training sessions will be held at multiple locations:

Manor Drive Secondary Academy: Sessions for various age groups from Year 1 to Year 11 on different days.

Oundle Sports Centre: Sessions for ages 9-16 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

​​

Sir Harry Smith Community College: Sessions for ages 9-16 on Wednesdays and Thursdays

 

Who founded the Peterborough City Basketball Club?

 

The club was founded by Chris Tawiah, a professional basketball player, in September 2023. His mission is to make basketball inclusive and accessible for boys and girls in Peterborough and the surrounding areas

What equipment does my child need to bring to the sessions?

 

Participants should wear comfortable sports clothing and bring a water bottle. Basketballs are provided by the club, but children are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
